A formal announcement to honour our "Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman" was conveyed as "The limited session but day-long precession to celebrate Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's "101st birth Anniversary" on 17th March 2021 will be held on the 1st floor (Conference Room) of the Academic Building. The teachers, doctors and officials are being invited to this event with proper precaution ahead of coronavirus outbreak and should be present at the college premises within 8:30 am."

On 17th March 1920, our Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was born to service his sacrifice for a nation that needs a strong leader to show the path of freedom and his 101st birthday was observed at RCMC, RCNC and RDC premises with due respect and solemnity. On the occasion authorities had been enlisted few elaborated programs during the day time which were included: hoisting of the national flag, morning rally, placing the floral wreath, discussion, documentary film show and photo exhibition. Principal Prof. Dr. Shamsuzzaman along with Deputy Managing director Director Md. Asraful Alam Al-amin and other honourable professors placed a floral wreath at the commemorative painting of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman first. Then, different groups of professors & lecturers, doctors and officials have also placed a floral wreath.

A cumulative discussion program on ‘Bangabandhu & His impact on the freedom of Bangladesh’ held today at the conference hall in RCMC academic building. Principal Prof. Dr. Shamsuzzaman along with Deputy Managing director Director Md. Asraful Alam Al-amin and Vice-principal Prof. Dr. MMA Wadud Mostafa were present as honourable guests and delivered their speech. Deputy Managing director Director Md. Asraful Alam Al-amin on behalf of the Authority of Rangpur Group presided over the discussion program at RCMC in where Prof. Dr. M. M. A. Wadud Mostafa, Vice Principal & Head of Department of Physiology and Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahim, Head of the Department of Biochemistry were present as remarkable speakers.  The discussion program also addressed among others: Asso. Prof. Dr. Syed Mamun, Assoc. Professor Dr. Motiur Rahman, Assistant Professor Dr. Shah Ahasanul Imran and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Hakim (Head of the Department of DFM). All faculty members, students, doctors, Officers and Employees were present at that time.
